I bought Richard Bransons’s Business Stripped Bare book recently and want to share with you few remarkable opinions. First one which I like is about business:

“At its heart, business is not about formality, or winning or ‘the bottom line’, or profit, or trade, or commerce, or any of the things the business books tell you it’s about. Business is what concerns us. If you care about something enough to do something about it, you’re in business…“.

Many people do amazing things without pursuing profits - charities, community workers, environment leaders etc… I think at it’s heart, it is all about people and people should be the main concern. If you are helping somebody and doing good, money will follow. The second opinion is about collaboration, quoting Albert Einstein who said:

“What a person does on his own, without being stimulated by the thoughts and experiences of others, is even in the best casees rather paltry and monotonous”.

Richard Branson devotes whole chapter to People and the need of people to talk to each other in order to generate ideas. Can not agree more.

More will follow, I didn’t finish yet :)
